SEPTEMBER 14 – MESSINA INN

Guest Speaker: Heidi Knight, Civic Club Publicity Chair

Heidi will share an overview of publicity plans for the Club’s activities and fundraising events. She will also present a simple “class” about how members can actively participate in publicity efforts through their own social media.

OCTOBER 12 – MESSINA INN

Guest Speaker: Paula Glover, Texas Master Naturalist

Paula will share how volunteers provide education and services to help manage our natural resources in the Wimberley area and how you can become a Master Naturalist through a training program including classroom and field work.

NOVEMBER 9 – MESSINA INN

Guest Speaker: Jenny Kenley, Barnabas Connection

Jenny will discuss the programs offered at Barnabas Connection including the new Mental Health Services program.

DECEMBER 6 – 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm – SOCIAL ON THE SQUARE

This meeting is all about the upcoming Spring Event! This is your chance to get a jump on all the great events offered.

FEBRUARY 9 – WIMBERLEY UNITED METHODIST FELLOWSHIP HALL

Guest Speaker: Chick Morgan

Chick will share the story of her return to Texas in her new non-fiction memoir, "Everything’s a Two-Step But a Waltz: The Reluctant Texan Comes Home."

MARCH 8 – WIMBERLEY UNITED METHODIST FELLOWSHIP HALL

This meeting is all about the Home Tour PLUS an eclipse presentation by the city. Bring cash or checks to buy your tickets for the Home Tour and the kick-off party. We are also selling special eclipse glasses for just $5.

APRIL 5 – WIMBERLEY UNITED METHODIST FELLOWSHIP HALL

Guest Speaker: Amber Wakem, Start Up Kids Club and Camp CommUnity

This Wimberley-created community lead summer program is built to give kids the chance to grow and learn in a safe, fun and inclusive environment.
