TWIN OAKS ESTATES

Twin Oaks is a distinctive three-home Hill Country estate designed for gathering and celebration. Originally built as a model home for Texas Casual Cottages and later extensively renovated, the property now includes twelve bedrooms across three residences, each with its own kitchen and living spaces. Set on a private stretch of countryside just minutes from both Wimberley and San Marcos, the estate comfortably accommodates large families and groups. Outdoor living is the highlight, with expansive gathering areas, a pool and hot tub, fire pit, and a private pickleball court, creating a relaxed retreat ideal for reunions, retreats, and weekend celebrations.

CASA COLINAS

Casa Colinas is a welcoming Hill Country home designed to capture views, light, and effortless entertaining. Built in 2014 and thoughtfully updated, the residence features refreshed lighting, fresh paint, and a beautifully renovated kitchen with new countertops and backsplash that create a bright, open atmosphere. The spacious living areas flow naturally toward the outdoor pool and patio, where sweeping Hill Country views provide a peaceful backdrop. A light-filled studio above the garage offers additional guest space and creative retreat. Gardens, patios, and gathering areas surround the home, creating a warm and inviting sanctuary tucked quietly into the landscape.

THE GATHERING

Set on twelve scenic acres, The Gathering blends Hill Country character with thoughtful modern updates designed for comfort and connection. Originally built in 2002 and renovated in 2024, the home features soaring ceilings, a dramatic freestanding fireplace, and inviting living spaces arranged for conversation and relaxation. Custom design elements—including locally inspired artwork and handcrafted details—reflect the spirit of Wimberley. Accessibility was central to the renovation, with a wheelchair-accessible suite and mobility-friendly features throughout the home. Outside, there are places to explore and play. Enjoy seeing the grounds, the pool and fire pits, a pickleball court, or follow a disc golf course winding through the property.

HILLTOP MODERN RETREAT

Completed in 2023, this newly built Hill Country residence showcases a close collaboration between the homeowners and Lambert Homes, a builder known for hands-on craftsmanship and thoughtful design. Clean architectural lines are balanced by warm natural materials, including Ravenswood Oak flooring and elegant quartz surfaces throughout the kitchen. A striking Taj Mahal stone island anchors the space, complemented by Calcutta Quartz along the perimeter. Large windows invite natural light and frame views of the surrounding landscape, creating a bright and welcoming interior. Carefully designed from start to finish, the home offers a refined yet comfortable interpretation of contemporary Hill Country living.

SERENITY

Serenity is an architect-designed Hill Country compound created by Mark W. Canada, AIA. Set on twenty acres with sweeping views, the project reflects a thoughtful blend of Texas Hill Country vernacular design, sustainability, and artistic expression. The property includes the Barn Studio, Office Loggia, and steel-framed Deck House, each designed with rainwater harvesting and passive solar principles. A dramatic negative-edge infinity pool and the Sunset Grill overlook a seasonal creek below. Sculptures and paintings created by the architect himself are featured throughout the grounds, adding a personal artistic layer to the landscape.

WINTERS-WIMBERLEY HOUSE

Wimberley’s oldest documented stone house (circa 1856), the Winters-Wimberley House provided a home for the miller families. The home sits high above Cypress Creek within view of the mill below. The home is constructed of 18” thick ashlar limestone blocks cemented with lime-based mortar that provided seasonal comfort and protection from invasion.  Descendants of Pleasant Wimberley lived here until 1997 when the stone house and surrounding five acres were purchased for community use. The home was restored, has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 2002, and now serves as the Wimberley Valley Museum.
